Workshops
We run various types of workshop to suit your needs. The one day introduction is a great way to familiarise yourself with PMC and to learn about the different techniques that can be used. We will also be running various different workshops to include charm making, bead making and shells, flowers and leaves. In order to book onto our other workshops you must have a prior knowledge of PMC as we will not be covering the basics on these workshops. Please check back for dates.
Introduction to Precious Metal Clay
This one day workshop requires no previous experience and is a great way to learn the basics of PMC. You will learn about the different types of PMC, various techniques, shaping, cutting, moulding and how to put patterns on your designs through texture. You will learn how make a pendant, earrings and/or a leaf bead as well as how to set stones. You will also be shown the various different ways of putting holes into your jewellery. You will have design freedom and the use of a kiln and butane torch. You will be able to take all items of jewellery that you make home with you. (Code: IPMC)
Leaves, Flowers and Shells
This one day workshop is not for beginners and you will need to have had some experience with PMC to register. You will learn how to make a beautiful leaf pendant from a real leaf, and a stunning curved flower and/or shell using two part silicone moulding putty. The day will be varied to include learning how to make a bale for your pendants and you will have your own design freedom to make fantastic pieces of jewellery which are unique to you. You will be using different forms of PMC to enable you to learn new techniques to further your experience and knowledge with this wonderful medium. (Code: LFSPMC)
Silver Charms and Treasures
This two day workshop is not for beginners and you will need to have had some experience with PMC. You will be working with PMC to create beautiful little charms and trinkets. The first day will concentrate on PMC Original to make intrictate and interesting little charms. On the second day you will be working with other forms of PMC to make charms and trinkets with stones and add-ons. (Code: SCTPMC)
